Three FBI agents and a police officer helped saved the life of a 35-year-old man who had a heart attack during a running event in Philadelphia, Philly.com reports.

FBI Special Agents Erik Negron, Tom Powell and Brian Hoffman, along with Philadelphia Police Officer Matthew Fleming, quickly intervened when the runner collapsed.

An officer spotted the medical emergency and sent out a frantic bulletin. The three agents, who were working security for the event, rushed over. Fleming and Hoffman administered CPR to the runner, who had no pulse.

Fleming used a defibrillator to kick-start the man’s heart.

The runner was stabilized and taken to the hospital.
