Two teenage boys accused of shooting a Border Patrol vehicle near Sierra Vista, Ariz., have been charged with endangerment and felony criminal damage.

The boys, who are 15 and 16, shot out a window in the Border Patrol vehicle on Dec. 30, according to a CBP release.

No one was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, and no one was injured.

The shooter managed to escape capture until their parents contacted the local sheriff’s office after recognizing the boys in a photo released to the public.
