A Baltimore FBI agent stabbed his estranged wife to death before ending his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police concluded following an investigation.

David Raynor, a special agent for the Baltimore Field Office, was embroiled in a divorce and custody case with his estranged wife Donna Fisher when the murder-suicide happened Wednesday.

At 8 a.m. Wednesday, a woman called 911 and reported that Donna Fisher had asked her to call “because she was being threatened by her recently estranged husband,” the Anne Arundel County Police Department told ABC News on Wednesday.

Police found the couple’s bodies at Fisher’s Brownsville, Md., home. Later that day, the Fisher and Raynor were scheduled to appear in divorce court.

Fisher filed for divorce in March 2017.

Raynor, who joined the FBI in 1993, had worked at the Baltimore Field Office since February 2003.

A veteran ATF agent and his wife are dead following a shooting at a home in Chantilly, Va., CBS-DC reports.

Killed were 46-year-old Paul Parisi and his wife, 47-year-old Jannine Parisi, who were found in their home after a report of gunshots just after 5 a.m.

Police have not yet divulged details but said the shooting was domestic-related.

Not injured were two teenage girls inside the home.

According to CBSDC, Paul Parisi worked with ATF since 1993 and was most recently a special agent assigned to the Washington Field Division in the arson and explosives division.

His wife taught physical education at a middle school, CBSDC reported.

The driver of a white van shot a Canadian Border Services Agency officer in the neck before apparently turning the gun on himself at Canadian crossing in Washington state Tuesday, reports KIROTV.

The man, whose name was not released, died at the scene of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, and the female agent was injured and airlifted from the scene to a hospital in Canada.

The van was driving into Canada from the U.S., KIROTV said.

Her identity and condition were not known this morning, but CTV News said she was breathing on the way to the hospital and appeared to be in serious condition.

What prompted the shooting remains unclear.

“This event is a sobering reminder of the dangerous conditions faced daily by the men and women of our law enforcement agencies as they work to protect the safety and security of Canadians,” Public Safety Minister Vic Toews said in a statement to CTV News.

Earlier in the day, Cpl. Bert Paquet said, “The first report at the scene revealed that a male, a lone male, had shot an officer in her booth. At the instant following the shooting of the officer, the lone male had been pronounced dead at the scene from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

A gun used by a felon to shoot and kill a state trooper in the state of Washington in February was traced to a gun show in 2009, the Associated Press reports.

The news comes from the ATF, which tracked the history of the .40-caliber Smith & Wesson.

The proper documentation was never filled out when the gun changed hands at least twice, according to the AP.

Joshua Blake shot and killed Trooper Tony Radulescu Feb. 23 and then fatally shot himself, the AP reported.
