The husband of a forensic FBI photographer from Alabama is a person of interest in the drowning death of his wife.

Authorities found 60-year-old Kathleen Miller, of Huntsville, Ala., in a shallow creek in the Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina on Oct. 7.

Gregory Miller called 911 and calmly reported his wife, who had no health issues, had fallen in the creek.

“I tried to call for help. I need help,” the husband said in a 911 call obtained by WAAY-TV. “My wife has fallen in the water, and I couldn’t get her out. … I wish I could be of more help.”

The couple were camping at the park when Gregory Miller said his wife disappeared after saying she wanted to check out Santeetlah Creek. Her husband said he later discovered her body face down in the creek.

Several law enforcement agencies are investigating the case.

Time has contacted the Secret Service to express concerns over the aggressive nature of an agent who grabbed a news photographer by the neck and slammed him to the ground at a Donald Trump rally Monday.

Chris Morris, a veteran White House photographer who was covering the presidential campaign for Time, said he’s never had problems with the Secret Service.

“I’ve worked for nine years at the White House and have never had an altercation with the Secret Service,” Morris said in a statement. “What happened today was very unfortunate and unexpected. The rules at Trump events are significantly stricter than other campaigns and make it very difficult to work as a photographer, as many others have pointed out before me. I regret my role in the confrontation, but the agent’s response was disproportionate and unnecessarily violent. I hope this incident helps call attention to the challenges of press access.”

The Secret Service issued a statement after the incident: ““The Secret Service is aware of an incident involving an employee of the Secret Service that occurred earlier today in Radford, VA. At this time, our local field office is working with their law enforcement partners to determine the exact circumstances that led up to this incident. The Secret Service will provide further details as warranted once additional facts surrounding the situation are known.”

The incident appeared to happen when Morris stepped outside of the press box to shoot Black Lives Matters protesters, who were told to leave the rally.

When told to stand in the restricted area, Morris responded, “Fuck you.”

That’s when the agent choke-slammed the photographer.

A Secret Service agent grabbed a Time photographer by the throat and slammed him to the ground during a rally for Donald Trump in Virginia today.

The violent incident was captured in numerous videos as the photographer was trying to document a crowd of Black Lives Matters protesters, who had disrupted the event, Mashable reports.

The agent stopped the photographer, who responded, “Fuck you.” The agent then choke-slammed the photographer.

The photographer, Christopher Morris, defended himself while on the ground, kicking the agent.

As the crowd witnessed the attack, Trump told supporters, “Are we having a good time?”

Morris said he was arrested.

“I never touched him,” he told WSET reporter Annie Andersen while he was being escorted away. “I tried to show the press lead what he did to me, and I said he choked me, so I put my hand on him, and that’s when I was arrested,” he said.

The FBI was called to a Florida school after officials saw him acting suspiciously and taking photos of students outside Umatilla High School in Lake County.

But after talking with the man, who appeared to be nervous and sweating, the FBI released the photographer because there was no evidence of criminal activity, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The man had inconsistent stories, saying his girlfriend attended the high school, but none of the three names he gave were found in school records.

Part of his car was smeared in sunscreen, and divorce papers were found in his vehicle.

“We did everything we possibly could, to include identifying him, running him for a warrants check, interviewing him, searching his vehicle, trespassing him, and notifying the school district, FBI, and FDLE,” Lake County Sheriff’s spokesman John Herrell said. “His behavior, while extremely odd by any standard, didn’t violate any laws.”
