A transgender woman missed her flight after the TSA forced her to undergo questioning and a 40-minute search after an “anomaly” during her full-body scan calibrated for a woman.
TSA agents flagged her after spotted the “anomaly,” the New York Daily News reports.
“That’s my penis,” she told a male TSA agent at Orlando International Airport.
What followed was a 40-minute pat-down and inspection that forced her to miss her flight to Minneapolis.
The incident drew outrage from transgender activists.
