Some of the motorcycle gangs involved in Sunday’s shootout in Waco, Texas, are dangerous criminal organizations, the USA Today reports.

Among those involved were the Bandidos and Cossacks, both of whom are known as outlaw biker gangs and “pose a serious national domestic threat.”

They’re among what the FBI dubs outlaw motorcycle gangs.

The Bandidos, according to the FBI,  “are involved in transporting and distributing cocaine and marijuana and are involved in the production, transportation and distribution of methamphetamine.”

The FBI lists at least 60 gangs who “have been either enlisted or have attempted to gain employment in the military or various government agencies.”

The Cossacks, a smaller motorcycle gang, have been feuding with the Bandidos.

“We knew the tensions with the Cossacks were as high as they’d ever been,” Steve Cook, executive director of the Midwest Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigators Association, said. “I don’t think anybody could have forecasted it to the degree that it happened.”

Does ISIS have the resources to strike the U.S.?

FBI Director James Comey said Tuesday that the terrorist organization has shown no “capacity or resources” to pull off such an attack, the Courier-Journal reports.

Comey dismissed suggestions that the Obama administration missed the emergence of ISIS.

“From the FBI’s perspective, I don’t think it is anything we missed,” he said.

Comey was in Louisville as part of his tour of every field office in the U.S.

Because of the surveillance after the Sept. 11, 2011 attacks, the U.S. is “much safer” because of additional resources given to the FBI.

A veteran ATF agent and his wife are dead following a shooting at a home in Chantilly, Va., CBS-DC reports.

Killed were 46-year-old Paul Parisi and his wife, 47-year-old Jannine Parisi, who were found in their home after a report of gunshots just after 5 a.m.

Police have not yet divulged details but said the shooting was domestic-related.

Not injured were two teenage girls inside the home.

According to CBSDC, Paul Parisi worked with ATF since 1993 and was most recently a special agent assigned to the Washington Field Division in the arson and explosives division.

His wife taught physical education at a middle school, CBSDC reported.

One of the most important jobs at the FBI is the position of deputy director.

On Monday, FBI Director James B. Comey named 25-year bureau veteran Mark Giuliano to the job, which makes him responsible for overseeing all domestic and international investigations, the Washington Post reports.

He’ll begin his new duties when the current deputy Sean Joyce retires on Dec. 2.

Giuliano started his career as a special agent at the Washington Field Office and has plenty of experience in national security and counterterrorism, the Post wrote.
