Trump Suggests Former FBI Directors Guilty of Treason, Punishable by Death

President Trump made the bold claim that former FBI Director James Comey and former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe were guilty of treason during a wild press conference Thursday.

The assertion came after NBC reporter Peter Alexander pointed out that the “Constitution says treason is punishable by death,” and then said, “You’ve accused your adversaries of treason. Who specifically are you accusing of treason?”

Trump responded, “Well I think a number of people. And I think what you look is that they have unsuccessfully tried to take down the wrong person.”

So who’s he talking about?

“If you look at Comey, if you look at McCabe, if you look at people probably higher than that.”

It’s unclear who is higher than the director of the FBI. Former President Obama, whom Trump has accused of playing a role in the investigation into Trump’s campaign?

Trump didn’t say whether any of them should be executed, but his response was cringe-worthy. He also does not appear to understand what treason is.

Treason refers to conspiring to overthrow the government or aiding international groups that are enemies of the U.S.

The irony is that Trump has been accused of working on behalf of Russia, a persistent threat to the U.S.

Snowden Says U.S. Authorities Want to Kill Him After Their Anonymous Remarks in Media

NSA leaker Edward Snowden claimed Sunday that U.S. officials “want to kill me,” the Daily Mail reports.

In an interview with a German TV station, Snowden cited an anonymous Pentagon official quoted as saying, “I would love to put a bullet in his head.” An NSA analyst was quoted as saying he would kill Snowden.

The 30-year-old, who took refuge in Moscow to avoid treason charges, said he does not want to return to the U.S. because he wouldn’t receive a fair trial.

Florida Republican Gets Quick Visit From Secret Service After Tweet About Hanging Obama

A Florida Republican discovered a quick way to get a visit from the Secret Service.

The Daily Caller reports that an African American candidate for state assembly tweeted Tuesday that he believes President Obama should be arrested and hanged.

But the candidate, Joshua Black, didn’t stop there.

He posted this on Facebook:

To everyone who was offended that I said that the POTUS should be hanged for treason, this is the man who droned Al-Awaki on “suspicion of terrorism”–not proof–and later killed his 15-year-old son for nothing more than being his son.

This is also the man who sought to have Bradley Manning and Eric Snowden executed for treason when they didn’t kill anyone, nor does the US government pretend to believe that they cost any spies their lives.

This would be exactly what the President has done to others, and, as Jesus said, “the measure ye mete, it shall be meted to you again.” I make no apologies for saying that the President is not above the People. If ordinary Americans should be executed for treason, so should he.

So, don’t stop at impeachment. Remove him. Try him before a jury (the very right that he arbitrarily denied to al-Awaki and his 15-year-old son), and, upon his sure convictions, execute him. Thus has he done, thus it should be done to him.

Although Black later insisted he was “not threatening the president,” the Secret Service gave him a house visit, the Daily Caller wrote.
