A former Secret Service agent, who considers himself a “die-hard” conservative, said it’s ludicrous to believe Hillary Clinton has a body double – a conspiracy theory that has gained traction on social media.
“Do you really believe, in an era of HD cameras that … there is a Hillary Clinton body double out there?” Dan Bongino said, Western Journalism reports.
Bongino said the conspiracy theorists are distracting from real issues with Clinton.
“The left loves this stuff. I’m telling you, I’ve seen some of the staffers behind the scenes,” he said. “The far left thinks this is the greatest thing ever — that there are two major Clinton scandals going on right now as we talk, and there are people out there spinning conspiracy theories that Hillary has a body double.”
The body double conspiracy began after Clinton collapsed after a Sept. 11 memorial service. Trump supporters suggested a Clinton lookalike emerged from Chelsea Clinton’s apartment.
