FBI Arrests Suspect in Shooting of ICE Agent in Arizona

The FBI has arrested a suspect in the shooting of an ICE agent outside of a Tucson convenience store on Oct. 17. 

“The FBI has taken an individual has been taken into custody” in connection with the shooting, a spokeswoman for the bureau told Tucson.com in an email Thursday. 

No other details were available. 

An ICE agent was shot in the arm during a drive-by shooting at about 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot of the convenience store. The shooter fled the scene. 

The agent was treated and released from a hospital. 

The case is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona.
