Former President Trump ranted about special counsel Jack Smith and his political opponents in a Christmas Eve message on his social media account.

It was just his latest verbal attack against Smith, who is heading up some of the criminal cases against Trump.

“JOE BIDEN’S MISFITS & THUGS, LIKE DERANGED JACK SMITH, ARE COMING AFTER ME,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “AT LEVELS OF PERSECUTION NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN OUR COUNTRY???”

Trump also accused the Jan. 6 Committee of writing a fake report.

In one of his posts, Trump insisted he is “fully entitled” to total presidential immunity from charges he is facing for actions he took while he was president.

Trump reiterated, without evidence, that Smith is nothing more than a pawn for President Biden.

Trump has been charged with more than 90 felony crimes stemming from four separate criminal cases. He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court decided not to promptly determine whether Trump can be indicted for trying to overturn the 2020 election because of presidential immunity.

“The Special Counsel contends that ‘[i]t is of imperative public importance that respondent’s claims of immunity be resolved by this Court,’” Trump’s attorneys wrote in a brief to the high court.
