Before joining the bureau in August, he worked in the private sector where “he managed a variety of information technology development projects. He provided enterprise instant messaging platforms and managed world-class solutions for server build, patching, server management, server imaging, and host intrusion prevention,” the FBI said in a press release.
From 2008 to 2009, Johnson was financial services director of sales for Aditi Technologies.
He also served in several technology roles with Lehman Brothers from 2004 to 2008, “including Windows server engineer, Windows server support manager, and unified communications manager,” the FBI said.
He graduate from the Naval Academy in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree and was commissioned in the Navy, the FBI said.
During his five years with the Navy, he was responsible for training, developing, and executing information systems security policies for 178 commands, or approximately one-eighth of the operational Navy, the FBI said.
