Former NFL running back Michael Antwon Bennett couldn’t run away fast enough from this problem.
Bennett faces up to 20 years in prison after he pleaded guilty last week to making fraudulent financial claims in order to get a $200,000 loan, the Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Bennett, 33, tried to get the loan from a financial services store equipped with FBI surveillance.
Bennett said he had $9 million in the bank when in fact he had no money, the AP reported.
