A U.S. Border Patrol agent is accused of smuggling bundles of marijuana with his patrol vehicle while he was on duty, the Associated Press reports, citing a complaint filed in federal court earlier this week.

Authorities says Aaron Anaya stopped along the international border and picked up about 147 pounds of marijuana that had been dropped over the fence from Mexico, the AP wrote.

Anaya was caught taking the pot by the Southwest Border Corruption Task Force.

Anaya was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and carrying a firearm while committing a crime, the AP reported.

The FBI was part of the task force.
