Would travelers be safer if TSA agents were armed?
The answer is no, said U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, who opposes the idea, UPI reports.
The question was raised again after a shooting at Los Angeles International Airport over the weekend.
Mass shootings “can’t be the new normal,” Holder said.
“Now, that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t review the measures that are in place to keep people safe from the time that they get out of their cars and go into the terminals,” he said.
