Several days of angry protests outside of a Border Patrol station in Murrieta, Calif., gave way to a relatively quiet weekend as demonstrators from both sides of the immigration debate thinned out, the Press Enterprise reports.

On Tuesday, protesters blocked three busloads of immigrant families from being transported to the Murrieta station. Demonstrators from both sides of the debate showed up the next few days.

It’s unclear whether additional busloads are headed to Murrieta.

“We have not been informed that buses will or will not arrive,” said Lt. Jon Flavin of the Murrieta Police Department. “We will staff accordingly.”
