An ATF agent shot a man Thursday while executing a search warrant of his Oak Park, Calif., home, The Sacramento Bee reports.
The suspect was in critical condition after the agent shot him in his backyard during a raid for weapons.
The agent shot the man after he allegedly fled to the back of his house with a gun.
The suspect, whose name has not yet been released, is accused of firing the weapon first.
The shooting is under investigation.
