That was quick.
One day after the FBI placed him on its Ten Most Wanted List, accused kidnapper and murderer Adam Mayes was found dead Thursday in Union County Miss., CNN reported. He reportedly shot and killed himself.
Mayes was accused of kidnapping a Tennessee mother and her three daughters. The mother and oldest daughter were found dead last Friday.
But the good news Thursday was that the other two daughters were found alive, CNN reported.
Mayes had filled the last spot in the Top 10 list that was vacated after the FBI captured Boston mobster James “Whitey” Bulger last year in California. The death will once again leave a vacancy.
