The FBI has released a 868-page file on the late Penn State football coach Joe Paterno, but there was nothing in it hinting of the scandal that would shame the coach the school, the New York Daily News reports.
The paper reports that the file mostly involves involves threatening letters sent to him and his staff years ago.
The paper reported that Paterno received threatening letters in the 70s and 80s from someone who referred to themselves as a “a bitter father.”
The man blames Paterno for family problems that popped up after his son prematurely left the football program.
