The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward to help locate a Massachusetts man who was training how to kill Americans soldiers while visiting Pakistan and Yemen, the bureau announced Wednesday.

The FBI believes Ahmad Abousamra may be living in Syria with his wife, at least a daughter and extended family.

Abousamra allegedly conspired with Tarek Mehanna, who was convicted of terrorism charges in December 2011 and sentenced to nearly 18 years in prison in April.

It’s believed that Abousamra last lived in an affluent Boston suburb and has family members in the Detroit area.
