It was stolen in Mesa, Az, but recovered in Virginia.
The FBI’s Washington Field Office said Thursday that it helped recover the rare first edition of the Book of Mormon, which has been swiped from a bookstore in Arizona over Memorial Day weekend.
Authorities said the book was recovered earlier this week after executing a search warrant for an apartment in Herndon, Va., an outer suburb of D.C.
Authorities arrested Jay Michael Linford, 48, of Gilbert, Az, who was a guest at the apartment.
