WASHINGTON — A triple-murder suspect who has been on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List since 2005 along with such notables as Osama bin laden, has been captured in Mexico, the Associated Press reports.

Mexican federal police caught Jorge Alberto Lopez Orozco in the Pacific coast state of Guerrero, the AP reported, attributing Thursday’s announcement to the Mexican Attorney General’s Office. He was being held on an American extradition request.

Lopez Orozco, 33, is charged in the  2002 murders of Rebecca Ramirez, who he had been dating on and off, and her sons, ages 2 and 4, in Elmore County, Idaho, according to the FBI and AP. The three had been shot and their charred remains were found in a burned out car.
