The FBI’s Las Vegas division has a new special agent in charge.

Aaron Rouse, who has more than 20 years experience with the bureau, took the helm on Monday.

Rouse most recently served as section chief in the FBI’s headquarters counterintelligence division.

He replaced Laura Bucheit, who left in July after being promoted to security division assistant director to FBI Director James Comey.

Rouse served in a violent crime unit and a joint fugitive task force in the Washington field office.
