A former Border Patrol agent was sentenced Monday to more than three years in prison on charges of stealing government property and possessing child pornography, San Diego 6 News reports.
Rodolfo Zuniga, 34, was assigned to the Border Patrol’s Imperial Beach, Calif., station between November 2009 and March 2010 when feds say he stole four sets of night-vision goggles and one GPS unit, all of which he sold on eBay for a combined $10,000, San Diego 6 wrote.
While searching his house in Imperial Beach, authorities found more than 375 images of child pornography, San Diego 6 reported.
Zuniga resigned two weeks after his arrest.
