William Turner isn’t just any conspiracy theorist.
An FBI agent from 1951 to 1961, Turner was working as a journalist when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. He was a trained investigator and wanted to learn more about the breakdown in security that November day in 1963, CBS 13 reports.
During his investigation, Turner believed there were two shooters and eventually would conclude that the CIA choreographed JFK’s murder.
“I believe the mafia was allied with the CIA in assassinating Kennedy, and I think we’ve proven that and should go ahead with closure — designating it a conspiracy and not a single man’s work,” Turner told CBS 13.
