The Drug Enforcement Administration’s Survivors Benefit Fund (DEASBF) received a donation of $30,000 from GLOCK, Inc. at the annual International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in San Diego last week.
“GLOCK is proud to help honor those who have laid down their lives to serve and protect,” GLOCK National Director of Sales, Bob Radecki Radecki, said in a statement. “By assisting in providing their children with a college education, GLOCK is able to contribute to this meaningful cause.”
Since 2011, GLOCK has donated nearly $150,000 to the DEASBF.
Retired DEA agent Richard Crock, who is chairman of the fund, said:
“The fund would not exist without donors and partners like GLOCK. We can never replace a lost mother or father but with GLOCK’s help we can make the lives of the surviving family members, especially the children, a little easier. Currently, the Benefit Fund pays line of duty death and continuing education benefits to the families of DEA Agents and Task Force Officers killed in the line of duty.”
