Glock Inc. this week donated $30,000 to the Drug Enforcement Administration Survivors Benefit Fund at the annual International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Boston.
The fund pays line of duty death and continuing education benefits to the families of DEA Agents and Task Force Officers killed in the line of duty. This year the fund has financed the college education of 15 children, all of whom lost their father in the line of duty.
Taylor Crowley, director of Glock’s law enforcement sales, presented the check at the conference.
“The DEA Survivors Benefit Fund’s mission to provide immediate support to the families left behind by our country’s fallen heroes is essential. GLOCK Inc. has a longstanding commitment to the individuals and families of those that go into harms way, which is why we are proud to support this mission,” Crowley said in statement.
DEA Survivors Benefit Fund Chairman Crock said in a statement:
“These are challenging times for our country and law enforcement in particular. Facing an unprecedented threat from illicit fentanyl you can be assured that the men and women of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration continue to relentlessly pursue and prosecute the world’s most ruthless criminal predators that continue to poison Americans.”
