A GoFundMe page created a week ago for the family of Secret Service agent Nole Remagen, who died at age 42 while on a protection detail for the president’s trip to Ireland, has raised more than $300,000 so far.

The page, set up by a co-worker of Remagen, originally set a goal of $150,000. The new goal as of Monday, was $350,000.

As of late Monday morning, the fund had raised more than $339,000.

The co-worker, David Cruea, who created the site, wrote:

During  my time living in the Washington DC area I have worked with Nole multiple times throughout his career and almost daily with his father for numerous years. I have set up and organized this campaign with the hope the funds collected through this platform help to ease the burden that surely is ahead for Nole’s wife, two young children and the entire Remagen family.

All money raised through this campaign has been set up for Nole’s wife to have exclusive and direct access to all funds collected.

This is the only official fundraising site for Nole E. Remagen and his family. All other fund raising platforms or campaigns should be verified prior to contributing.
