About 11 million illegal immigration in the U.S. have “earned the right to be citizens,” said new Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.

The Daily Mail reports that Johnson called for “comprehensive, common sense, immigration reform” during his speech at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington D.C.

“An earned path to citizenship for those currently present in this country is a matter of, in my view, homeland security to encourage people to come out from the shadows,” Johnson said.

He added: “To offer the opportunity to those who want to be citizens, who’ve earned the right to be citizens, who are present in this country – many of whom came here as children – to have the opportunity that we all have to try to become American citizens.”

  1. The problem with this country is that in many cases political hacks get appointed to important positions like DHS and they become mindless robots for their masters. As a long-time law enforcement professional I have the following questions:
    1. Who are the 11 million illegals?
    2. How many of the illegals have criminal records?
    3. Why should illegals get citizenship while those who do so legally have to wait years?
    4. Why do we not enforce the laws we have? This is not a game!
    5. How many crimes do illegals commit in the U.S. every single day?
    6. Why w ould be give blanket amnesty with unsecure borders? Again sounds like political posturing and not doing what is right for ALL Amercians.
I understand the need for reform, but giving blanket amnesty to gain political favor and to gain votes is selling the Amercian public down the river. Enforce the laws we have and only allow citizenship to those who are willing to follow extisting laws.

  2. Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, a MAN OF THE PEOPLE has published an editorial in USA Today that criticizes President Obama using pressure on the Republican Establishment (not the People’s Tea Party} to pass an immigration reform plan that will hurt American workers while claiming to be apprehensive about their dilemma. He called upon Republicans to set aside the demands of business groups and all special interest factions and “stand alone as the one party defending the legitimate interests of American workers” in the immigration framework.

The following is a selection from his article:

“In Tuesday’s State of the Union address, President Obama is expected to discuss the plight of American workers. At the same time, he is pushing Republicans to pass an immigration plan making the problem worse by increasing the flow of immigrant workers to compete against unemployed Americans and those struggling to get by in low-wage jobs. Yet, alarmingly, the move is regarded as a part of Obama’s agenda that has a chance of becoming law.

“House Republicans should reply to the president’s immigration effort with a simple message: Our first duty is to help Americans struggling in finding good work and rising wages.

“So what is the president’s proposal? With three job seekers for every open job, he proposes doubling the number of guest workers entering every year, granting immediate work permits to millions of illegal immigrants, and tripling the number of new immigrants granted permanent residency over the next decade.

“Did anyone ask the American people whether they wanted to triple immigration? Polling shows that the public opposes these increases. The opposition is particularly strong among lower- and middle-income Americans. Those earning under $30,000 prefer a reduction to an increase by 3-1.

“Republicans have the opportunity to give voice to the working and middle-class Americans whose wages and job prospects have eroded drastically in recent years. House GOP leaders are reportedly planning to release their “immigration principles” this week. Unfortunately, leaks reveal the leaders’ plan mirrors central elements of the president’s plan, combining work permits for millions of illegal immigrants with large permanent increases in the flow of new workers from abroad. This would be an extraordinary act of self-sabotage.
“The choice is clear. Either the GOP can help the White House deliver a crushing hammer blow to the middle class — or it can stand alone as the one party defending the legitimate interests of American workers?” Our only chance of forcing the United States Congress to follow the people’s will is the hammering voice of the people. The Tea Party has grown in mega-membership of Americans from every Race, religion and political Left/Right, rich, poor relationship. We have been lied to, by egotistical and delusional bunch of blinkered people and have unceasingly ignored us, from the commencement of 1986 amnesty. The priority is to protect this nation, but both parties are equally to blame for NOT sealing the border; building the real double layer fence. They say it’s not possible? Israel stopped terrorists by installing their border fence. IT CAN BE DONE; IT SHOULD BE DONE?

Numbersusa, a grassroots organization, sees the danger of overpopulation and the socialist factions ignore it. California the epicenter of the illegal alien invasion are about to suffer water shortages. Fax for FREE Congress – Tell them to secure the borders first! petitions.conservativeactionalerts.com. . Use your voice and crash the switchboard in Washington at (202) 224-3121. Enough is enough. Obama has defied and defiled the Constitution, bypassed Congress, gone against the laws of this country and the will of the people. The only true Conservatives who will enforce immigration are the “Break-away” Peoples TEA PARTY dot org. President Barack Obama is pushing for amnesty even though the (CBO) Congressional Budget Office has determined it will devastate the wages of working class Americans.
