Combating terrorism is among the top priorities of the FBI’s three-state Minneapolis Division, the new head of the division told the Associated Press.

Chris Warrener, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Minneapolis Division, which handles Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, said he plans to use his background overseeing terror financing probes.

The office handles a diverse range of issues, from terrorism to computer crimes.

“We have a lot on our plate,” he told the AP.

Last month, Warrener replaced Don Oswald, who retired to practice law.
