A Pennsylvania man sentenced to 70 years in prison for threatening to kill FBI agents and rape one of their wives and daughters was denied a request for a reduced sentence.

Justin M. Credico, 36, was urging the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit to approve his appeal of his convictions and prison sentence, PennLive.com reports

The judges said Credico provided no good reason to overturn the original penalty.

In 2008, the West Chester man began making harassing phone calls to the FBI’s Philadelphia office until about mid-2014. The recipient of many of the calls was an agent who Credico blamed for being expelled from West Chester University.

Credico was busted making death and rape threats to an agent who recorded the messages on a tape recorder.
