WASHINGTON — Before a packed crowd at headquarters, Robert S. Mueller III on Friday delivered his final speech at the big office Christmas party as director.
Mueller kept it light and sprinkled some humor into his brief speech which included wishing everyone a Happy Holiday. The crowd included agents, officials, former agents and members of the media.
The spread? Not bad. It included fried shrimp and crab cake balls and a pretty good sweet table.
Mueller steps down as director in September after serving 10 years. He started the job just days before the Sept. 11, 2001 attack.
