
The powerful Zetas drug cartel took another blow in San Antonio, Tex., says a report from local KENS5.com.
A DEA bust recovered high quality cocaine and millions of dollared allegedly linked to the Zetas, the station reported. Authorities claimed the bust crippled a powerful drug operation in San Antonio . Five were charged with cocaine trafficking.
A 1968 red Impala and a hot-pink low-rider classic automobile were among four vintage “hot rides” seized in the bust, the station reported.
“We had a seizure of about $2 million and another seizure of $50,000,” said Mauricio Fernandez, DEA special agent. “We also seized about 5 kilos of high quality cocaine.”
