“Delete your Twitter account” is a common response to President-elect Donald Trump’s sometimes head-scratching tweets that criticize the media, Saturday Nigh Live and even China.
Many Trump supporters praise the president-elect for speaking what’s on his mind without a filter.
But the Secret Service may request that Trump relinquish the Twitter account after he is sworn into office, the New York Daily News reports.
“That’s going to be up to him, the Secret Service and others who have to help decide those issues,” Kellyanne Conway said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“I will tell you that the President-elect looks at his social media accounts, a combined 25 million or probably more at this point users on Twitter on Facebook as a very good platform for which to convey his messages,” she said. “But he’s a unique person who’s been following his instincts and his judgment from the beginning.”
Many critics fear that Trump’s impulsivity on Twitter could endanger himself and the country.
