The U.S. Senate Tuesday confirmed Maine Superior Court Justice Thomas E. Delahanty II as the U.S. Attorney for Maine, the Bangor Daily News reported.
Delahanty, 65, of Falmouth, Maine, was nominated in March. He will replace Paula Silsby. He had previously served as U.S. Attorney in the early 1980s.
“I’m hoping I can get things lined up and be sworn in quickly,” Delahanty told the paper.
