Four more members of the far-right group Oath Keepers were sentenced to prison on charges of seditious conspiracy and other criminal counts for their roles in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
“What we absolutely cannot have is a group of citizens who – because they did not like the outcome of an election,” the judge said.

The seditious conspiracy trial involving the Proud Boys was temporarily halted this week after prosecutors revealed that a defense witness has been an FBI informant since 2021, defense attorneys said in a court filing.
