Another Border Patrol supervisor is in hot water.
This time James Doran, 54, who is the supervisor of the Border Patrol’s Laredo office, is expected to be charged today for allegedly collecting more than $108,000 in Social Security benefits to which he was not entitled, the Laredo Morning Times reports.
An indictment was unsealed, revealing the case against Doran, who could faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
The investigation was handled by the Social Security Administration-Office of Inspector General, Department of Homeland Security-Office of Inspector General and the Bureau of Vital Statistics Fraud Unit.
