WASHINGTON — Carol K.O. Lee has been named the special agent in charge of the FBI Albquerque office, replacing Thomas C. McClenaghan who retired.
Lee launched her career with the FBI in 1986 in the Honolulu division, where she investigated national security, violent crime, organized crime and drugs, the FBI said.
In 1993, she went to the San Francisco division to investigate Asian organized crime.
After taking on some other jobs, she eventually became section chief of the FBI’s International Operations Section II within the Office of International Operations, the agency said. Her duties included oversight of the FBI’s Legal Attaches worldwide.
