The DEA Survivors Benefit Fund this week celebrates its 20th Anniversary as a national non-profit charity assisting the families of the agency’s fallen.
Over the years, the organization has spent more than $6.5 million in line of duty death and educational benefits.
“Many SBF supporters have suffered the loss of a friend or colleague or heard the stories of our heroes and felt compelled to assist the children that lost a parent,” said Chairman Richard Crock, a retired DEA agent. “No matter what drew you to our cause, this is a momentous occasion and a great time to say thank you for your support.”
“Your generosity and kindness has enabled us to honor DEA’s fallen heroes… to take pride in their courage and sacrifice and to vow to their families that they will never be forgotten.”
GLOCK National Sales Manager Robert Radecki presented a check for $30,000 on Sunday to the fund at the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in Philadelphia.
