FBI Arrests Chicago Cop in Onging Probe Into Tow Truck Kickbacks

FBI agents on Tuesday arrested a Chicago cop police officer as part of an ongoing probe into officers taking kickbacks from tow truck drivers, the Chicago Tribune reported.

A federal complaint filed against cop James Wodnicki alleged that he received  cash bribes from tow truck operators in exchange for preferential treatment at accident scenes, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The complaint suggests other cops were involved as well, but authorities declined to say if more arrests were forthcoming, the Tribune reported.
