Authorities have doubled the reward for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of a man who robbed an undercover ATF agent at gunpoint and led to him being severely injured in Louisiana.

The National Police Defense Foundation’s “Safe Cop” program announced Sunday it’s offering a $10,000 reward as authorities search for 49-year-old Michael Lott, described as 6 feet tall and about 170 pounds. The ATF and Crimestoppers GNO are each offering a $5,000 reward.

On Wednesday near an apartment in Algiers, the ATF was conducting an undercover operation when “multiple armed, unidentified” people “pointed guns at the agent,” causing him to fall from a third-story landing to “escape execution.”

Several suspects were arrested Wednesday, but Lott was still on the loose as of Monday.

The injured agent was taken to University Medical Hospital.
