A 48-year-old U.S. Navy veteran was charged with ramming an SUV into a security gate at the FBI’s Atlanta Field Office on Monday afternoon.

The motives of Ervin Lee Bolling, of South Carolina, have not yet been disclosed, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports

Video from the scene shows a red SUV wedged against a retractable barrier outside the office. A search of the car uncovered no explosives.

DeKalb County police arrested Bolling after special agents apprehended him at the scene.

Records indicate that Bolling has worked as an insurance broker at Bankers Life since 2018. He’s married with three daughters, according to Bankers Life’s website.

Bolling was enlisted as a submarine warfare specialist for more than 20 years with the Navy.

Although his Facebook page is primarily private, he has posted videos critical of President Joe Biden and his profile photo is a comic chastising public safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
